Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County is seeking an Endoscopic Technician to support GI and Pulmonary procedures. You will clean, disinfect, and reprocess endoscopes, prepare equipment, and document QA logs. The role requires a high school diploma, Florida CNA licensure (preferred), and BLS certification.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians during procedures, maintaining solutions, and onboarding new staff. On-call per department policy; on-site work at Jupiter Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) licensure in the state of Florida preferred
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• Certified Endoscopic Tech through Society Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates preferred

Responsibilities

• Manages GI lab endoscope reprocessing and disinfection under RN supervision.
• Assists physicians during GI procedures with biopsies, therapeutics and related tasks.
• Maintains disinfectant solutions and documents QA/QI logs accurately.
• Mentors new staff and supports infection prevention practices daily.
• On-call assignment as required by department and hospital policy.
