A healthcare provider in New York is seeking a full-time Endoscopy Technician to join their team. This role involves maintaining endoscopic equipment, assisting the nursing staff, and managing supplies in the GI Lab. The position requires a High School Diploma and previous experience in a medical role is preferred. You will be responsible for ensuring the equipment is functional and prepared for procedures, with the added expectation of teamwork and effective communication.

Qualificações

• Previous employment or training as an Endoscopy Technician, Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, or similar.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Care for and maintain all endoscopic equipment utilized in the G.I. Laboratory.
• Ensure equipment functions properly before use.
• Assist in the preparation/obtaining of specimens and proper labeling.
• Work cooperatively with the team and support nursing staff.
