Qualifications

• Previous employment or training as an Endoscopy Technician, Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, or similar.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Care for and maintain all endoscopic equipment utilized in the G.I. Laboratory.
• Ensure equipment functions properly before use.
• Assist in the preparation/obtaining of specimens and proper labeling.
• Work cooperatively with the team and support nursing staff.
