BJC HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy for a nursing role in Saint Louis, Missouri. The Endoscopy department handles Upper Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and related procedures with a team including RNs and technicians.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, planning and evaluation of care plans, and collaboration with the interprofessional team to ensure safe, high-quality care. Experience in ED/ICU/GI is preferred.

Qualifications

• Provides direct patient care activities in Endoscopy setting.
• Experience with nursing care planning, assessment, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on post-treatment home care and medication administration.
• Develops, implements, and documents plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Communicates the plan of care across the continuum of care.
• Supports safety, quality, and regulatory compliance within nursing standards.
