Job summary

University Health KC's GI Lab is seeking a Clinical Nurse RN to support patient care before, during, and after gastroenterology procedures at UH Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.

The RN will assist in endoscopic procedures, liver biopsies, and related GI interventions, administer moderate sedation when needed, and ensure equipment is prepared and data recorded; on-call coverage after hours, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license is required.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or ADN required.
• Minimum of 2 years critical care or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in GI/endoscopic procedures and related patient care.
• Set up equipment and record patient data during procedures.
• Provide moderate sedation when needed.
• Participate in after-hours on-call for emergencies.
