Job summary

West Tennessee Healthcare in Martin, TN seeks a registered nurse specialized in the GI Lab to provide endoscopy support and patient care across assessment, planning, and evaluation. You’ll work with physicians and staff to ensure safe, quality care and participate in call back and overtime as required.

The role requires BSN, Tennessee RN license, BLS certification; ACLS encouraged and SGNA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• G.I. Lab nursing knowledge and practical skills.
• BSN required for the role.
• BLS certification required; ACLS encouraged; SGNA certification preferred.
• GI Lab experience of 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms with equipment and supplies.
• Perform initial patient assessment and plan care.
• Notify physician of patient condition and findings.
• Administer medications and IV fluids per policy.
• Maintain infection control and equipment care.
