Job summary

Covenant Health's Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking a Registered Nurse for the GI Lab Endoscopy. This is a full-time, day-shift position with 80 hours per pay period, offering professional nursing care coordination within a high-acuity unit.

The role requires a Tennessee RN license, CPR, and at least three years of professional experience. You will supervise LPNs and support staff, participate in quality improvement, and contribute to patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must hold Tennessee RN license and CPR certification.
• Minimum of three years professional nursing experience.
• Ability to supervise and mentor LPNs, nursing assistants, and techs.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate care across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Correlates patient history and support systems within hospital care/nursing home care.
• Assesses needs of patient and family.
• Develops and initiates plan of care with patient and family.
• Recommends interventions and evaluates progress of the plan.
• Leads process improvement initiatives in their unit or participates in facility teams.
• Precepts new employees or students and participates in orientation programs.
