Job summary

UPMC East is seeking a qualified Clinician to join the fast-paced GI Lab. This role balances direct patient care with leadership duties, working closely with the Unit Director to support staff and promote accountability for excellent patient care.

A sign-on bonus of $15,000 is available with this position. The successful candidate will have GI and/or PACU experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to patient care, with four 10-hour daylight shifts weekly and

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains productive working relationships by mentoring and coaching staff.
• Supports quality improvement and applies best practices to daily work.
• Acts as preceptor and mentor for staff and learners.
• Promotes patient safety and high-quality care through leadership and collaboration.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team to ensure understanding.
• Leads initiatives for staff development and performance evaluations.
