Job summary

UPMC Passavant is hiring a Full Time RN to support the GI Lab located at 9100 Babcock Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA. Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day, with weekend/holiday/weeknight call rotation.

A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered for RNs with over 1 year of experience. The RN will provide patient care in the GI Lab, participate in teaching, care coordination and quality improvement, and adhere to Relationship Based Care principles.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the facility is located.
• BSN preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains productive working relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Provides detailed teaching to patients and families to guide care transitions.
• Applies the nursing process within Relationship Based Care to create care plans.
• Participates in governance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Supports patient safety and quality of care through evidence-based practice.
