Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University seeks a Program Coordinator to join the Residency Program Leadership Team. You will support development, planning, and governance of graduate medical education programs and ensure compliance with ACGME requirements.

The role involves coordinating residents, fellows, and students while managing budgets and systems. You will work with program directors to oversee didactics, evaluations, and events, ensuring accurate reporting and smooth operations across the residency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health administration, education or business is preferred.
• 2 years of residency program coordination experience with accreditation requirements.
• Strong knowledge of ACGME/ residency requirements and software systems.
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership, discretion and sound judgment with confidential material.
• Familiarity with computers and database management is required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with program directors and staff to develop and govern educational programs.
• Manage residents, fellows, medical students, and rotators for compliance.
• Oversee program budgets and recruitment processes.
• Coordinate didactic classes, conferences and evaluations.
• Oversee residency/fellowship events and publication of handbooks and awards.
• Maintain multiple accreditation and reporting systems.
