Job summary

Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is seeking skilled GI Technicians for per diem opportunities at Johns Hopkins Surgery Centers in the Baltimore area. You will support endoscopy and specialty procedures in a high-quality ambulatory setting, collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to maintain patient safety and care.

The role offers flexible per diem scheduling and exposure to leading healthcare professionals in a state-of-the-art environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical acute care experience preferred.
• Endoscopy or procedural area experience of 1 year or more preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopic, manometry, and other special procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms and test equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Support physicians during procedures by passing instruments and using endoscopy accessories.
• Assist with medication and solution identification and labeling with the RN.
• Ensure proper handling and transport of patient specimens per policy.
