Job summary

The University of Maryland Medical System in Bel Air, MD is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist with procedures under direct supervision and to reprocess scopes and equipment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a trained program (e.g., EMT/Medical Corpsman) or equivalent; BLS certification.

Prior endoscopy or GI tech experience preferred. Pay ranges and shift differential apply.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized training program (e.g., EMT/Medical Corpsman) or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• Advanced endoscopic skills seminar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, performs delegated patient care and applies advanced technical skills in endoscopy procedures.
• Reprocesses all endoscopic scopes and equipment to maintain readiness and infection control.
