Job summary

Adventist Health Twin Cities in Templeton, CA seeks a part-time Endoscopy Technician to assist gastroenterologists in GI procedures and patient care. The role supports endoscopy room setup, disinfection, specimen collection, and sterilization, under RN direction.

Responsibilities include patient transport, collaboration with the nursing team, inventory management, and data collection for performance improvement. CPR/BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• Experience in Gastroenterology (GI) Lab/Operating Room: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and practices competencies related to endoscopic procedures and disinfection.
• Assists physicians with procedures, room setup and cleaning, specimen collection and sterilization processes.
• Transports patients between departments and provides direct care to endoscopy patients.
• Maintains inventory and communicates needs to inventory clerks.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
