Job summary

Qualifications

• At least a high school diploma or equivalency with patient care experience in a health care facility; or a CNA; or completion of a Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant course; or EMT/Paramedic certification; or Bachelor's degree.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within hire. Maintain current BLS certification throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide procedural support during GI procedures and assist with patient positioning and equipment setup.
• Ensure GI equipment is clean, functional, and available; coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to coordinate patient care before, during, and after GI procedures.
• Accurately document procedural details, patient information, and equipment usage in EMR systems.
• Adhere to infection control and regulatory standards; participate in QA and education of staff.
