Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield - Endoscopy is seeking a supportive team member to provide patient care and technical assistance in the endoscopy suite. This role helps prepare the endoscopy field, obtain equipment, and support the physician and RN while maintaining Mercy's standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days.
• Assist with endoscopy procedures and support clinical staff in the endoscopy suite.

Days

Overview

Maintains professional accountability and technical support for provision of patient care for the endoscopy patients experience. As directed, may be preparing the endoscopy field, obtain needed equipment uphold patient safety standards and assist the physician and registered nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties and may assist with special procedures as noted on the career ladder program. These duties may range from limited to overly complex. All duties are performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED are required.
• Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)required within 30 days
