Mercy Hospital Springfield - Endoscopy is seeking a supportive team member to provide patient care and technical assistance in the endoscopy suite. This role helps prepare the endoscopy field, obtain equipment, and support the physician and RN while maintaining Mercy's standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days.
• Assist with endoscopy procedures and support clinical staff in the endoscopy suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional accountability and technical support for patient care in the endoscopy patients experience.
• Prepare the endoscopy field and obtain needed equipment.
• Uphold patient safety standards and assist the physician and registered nurse.
• Support with special procedures as noted in the career ladder program.
