Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Endoscopy Technologist I in Rogers, AR to support GI and Pulmonology procedures in both outpatient and hospital settings. The role involves assisting with procedure prep, equipment setup, and maintaining patient safety under supervision of physicians and RNs.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and English proficiency. The position may involve full-time or part-time shifts with occasional after-hours call as part of the on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or GED required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Endoscopy Technologist I can participate in lower acuity cases and complete one basic competency.
• Must understand English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional accountability and technical support in delivering care for endoscopy patients.
• Assist with procedure preparation, equipment setup, and maintaining patient safety standards while supporting the physician and RN.
• Perform a range of direct and indirect patient care duties, including participation in special or complex procedures as outlined in the career ladder program.
