Job summary

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to support patient care for endoscopy services. You will prepare the field, obtain equipment, and assist physicians and registered nurses, while upholding safety standards.

The role offers a career-ladder path, with duties ranging from standard to complex per education and certification, and Mercy’s mission and service standards guide daily work. Full-time schedule: four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:30 pm,

Qualifications

• Education: High-School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: Participate in lower acuity cases and/or high-level disinfection; complete one Endoscopy competency.
• Certifications: American Heart Association BLS is required.
• English: Must understand English both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care for endoscopy patients and assist physicians and nurses.
• Prepare the endoscopy field, obtain needed equipment, and uphold patient safety standards.
• Perform duties per the career ladder; responsibilities may range from basic to complex.
