Job summary

Mercy Endoscopy Services is seeking an Endoscopy Technologist I to assist with procedure preparation, equipment setup, and maintaining patient safety in a fast-paced GI and Pulmonology setting. The role supports physicians and registered nurses across outpatient and hospital areas.

The position requires 0–1 year experience, a High-School Diploma or GED, and American Heart Association BLS certification. Shifts are 8 hours on weekdays, with full- and part-time options and after-hours call as

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or GED required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• 0-1 year of experience in outpatient centers and rural locations (Level I).

Responsibilities

• Assists with procedure preparation, equipment setup and patient safety.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care and supports physicians and nurses.
• Participates in special or complex procedures as outlined in the career ladder program.
• Must understand English both written and spoken and work safely in a clinical environment.
