Job summary

Mercy in Texas is seeking an Endoscopy Technologist to provide patient care and technical support in the endoscopy suite. You will prepare the field, obtain equipment, uphold safety standards, and assist physicians and nurses.

This role supports day-to-day operations and may serve as a preceptor after competency validation. Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, contributing to high-quality procedures, and working in a 24-hour location with outpatient services.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or GED required.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• 0-1+ years in outpatient/endoscopy settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare endoscopy field and obtain needed equipment, uphold safety standards.
• Assist physician and registered nurse during procedures and in day-to-day operations.
• Contribute to all aspects of the endoscopy suite operations and may serve as a preceptor after competency validation.
