Job summary
The Surgery Center of Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced GI Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team on a part-time basis. This fast-paced ambulatory center values excellent patient service and teamwork, with support for ongoing professional development.
The ideal candidate will have a Florida nursing license, CPR/ACLS, and at least 2 years GI experience in a hospital setting, plus strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate care with physicians and staff.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Nursing License
- Current CPR and ACLS certifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum 2 years GI experience in a hospital setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work with patients, staff, physicians and the public
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent nursing care in a fast-paced ambulatory Endoscopy Unit.
- Actively participate in management of the Endoscopy Unit.
- Maintain endoscopes and specialized equipment used in procedures.
- Provide technical assistance during procedures in the OR.
- Prioritize excellent patient service at every staff level.
