Job summary

Gateway Endoscopy Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, Inc, seeks a part-time RN to join our outpatient GI center. You will collaborate with gastroenterologists, assess patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, and provide education and compassionate care to diverse patients.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, communicating goals, following policy, and ensuring safety and quality. We offer competitive wages, benefits, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Professional School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a registered nurse.
• Current certification BCLS and ACLS.
• Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Meets the needs of the nursing services as demanded by the schedule.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the physical/psychological status of the patient during all peri-procedural phases.
• Advocate for patients and coordinate care with physicians and staff.
• Set goals for patient care and communicate them clearly to the team.
• Apply nursing judgment to implement care plans and resolve issues.
• Use resources to contain costs without compromising care quality.
• Maintain infection control and environmental safety practices.
• Document information accurately and timely.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
