The Surgery Center of Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced GI Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team on a part-time basis. This fast-paced ambulatory center values excellent patient service and teamwork, with support for ongoing professional development.

The ideal candidate will have a Florida nursing license, CPR/ACLS, and at least 2 years GI experience in a hospital setting, plus strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate care with physicians and staff.

The Surgery Center of Fort Lauderdale is looking to add an experienced GI Registered Nurse who is a team player to our thriving Endoscopy practice. We need someone who has good energy, enjoys customer service and performs well with minimal supervision.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent nursing care, and to actively participate in and contribute to the management of the Endoscopy Unit. They are expected to participate in the maintenance of endoscopes and other specialized equipment used in endoscopic and non-endoscopic procedures and provide technical assistance during such procedures in the OR. This is an fast-paced ambulatory center but excellent patient service is a priority and commitment at every staff level.

Education/Experience:

• Current Florida Nursing License
• Current CPR, ACLS
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 2 years of GI experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
