Job summary

AdventHealth Parker in Colorado is seeking a part-time registered nurse with GI experience to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across multiple dimensions.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educate patients and families, document care accurately, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Must hold RN license and BLS; sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
• A minimum of 1 year of GI experience [Required]
• Registered Nurse (RN) license [Required]
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification [Required]

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive GI patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Implement and revise individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocol.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and communication.
• Document care activities, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Monitor and adjust care plans to improve patient health and safety.
• Respond to code situations and provide appropriate interventions.
