GI Associates Stevens Point Endoscopy Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive pre- and post-care for GI patients, and intra-procedure support as assigned. You will assess physical, psychological, social, cultural, and developmental needs within the physicians' plan of care, delivering both direct and indirect nursing care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Current Wisconsin RN licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience preferred.
• GI/outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides pre and post care of GI patients, intra-procedure care as assigned; documents in EMR.
• Administers IVs and medications and assesses patients.
• Orders follow-up tests and appointments and provides patient/family education.
• Delegates duties to support personnel while maintaining teamwork.
• Contributes to quality improvement, infection control, safety, and record-keeping.
