Job summary

Gastroenterology of the Rockies is seeking a part-time Endoscopy RN to support procedures, prep and recovery, and staff training in a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center in Boulder County. You will help maintain patient records and coordinate care with doctors and the wider team.

The role requires RN licensure, GI experience preferred, and the ability to work 2–3 days per week. A supportive environment with patient-centered care and ongoing professional collaboration is offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license; GI experience preferred.
• RN degree (2- or 4-year program).
• Ability to work collaboratively with doctors and staff.
• Intermediate computer skills with medical software (Intergy preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collects and reviews patient health information and communicates needs to physicians.
• Preps patients for procedures and notifies doctors of concerns.
• Monitors patient recovery and reports abnormal developments.
• Delivers medications safely and reconciles usage per policy.
• Assists during procedures and ensures smooth workflow and patient care.
• Educates patients and families in understandable terms.
• Ensures complete and concise documentation of care.
• Participates in staff meetings and supports process improvements.
• Acts as a team player to optimize center efficiency.
• Performs daily tasks like reminder calls and crash cart checks.
