Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System in Kansas City is seeking a team-oriented Registered Nurse for GI/endoscopy with a passion for innovation and knowledge sharing. You will provide pre/post procedural care, pre-anesthesia assessments, and circulate during procedures, rotating to bedside in the ICU as needed.

Recent training is available; prior GI/procedural nursing experience is welcome but not required. This is a 4-day-per-week day shift with on-call on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• RN with an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process independently and oversee care.
• Coordinate care for endoscopy and bronchoscopy patients with the team.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to team members.
• Identify available hospital resources for patient care.
• Serve as a clinical resource for new staff.
• Demonstrate leadership within the endoscopy unit.
