Job summary

Careerwebsite seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP) to deliver direct patient care in a specialty clinic. You will work under supervising physicians to assess, diagnose, and manage care across multiple specialties, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and patient counseling.

You will maintain comprehensive treatment plans, perform procedures per scope, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes. A TX NP license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Texas RN licensure or RN licensure with compact privilege from a party to the NLC.
• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Certification from an accredited board as an APRN for the patient population focus.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical and mental condition of patients and takes medical histories.
• Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests to assess health needs.
• Prescribes and manages medications and therapies per approved protocols.
• Develops comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Counsels patients and families on health management and drug regimens.
• Maintains accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
• Provides consultation for specialty-related conditions and patient populations.
• Manages patients in non-primary settings as needed.
• Performs invasive procedures within scope of practice as delegated.
• May cover additional duties as department needs require.
