Licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) per state requirements is essential, along with related degrees and board certifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and manages acute, critical, and chronic illnesses in an inpatient setting.
• Obtains histories, conducts exams, prescribes therapy and treatments.
• Interprets data, orders and interprets diagnostic studies, and may perform minor surgeries.
• Provides care coordination and patient education across care settings.
