Job summary

SM Resinas is seeking a Sales Executive in Germany with deep knowledge of the German polymers market to drive growth and expand our presence in the region. You will manage key accounts, develop new opportunities and promote our polyolefin portfolio across customers.

Travel within Germany is required. You will collaborate with Purchasing, Supply Chain and Customer Service teams, including the German-speaking CS team in Spain, and enjoy a permanent role with autonomy and a competitive compensation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in polymer or chemical sales within polymer distribution or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of polyolefins (PE and PP) and plastics industry.
• Proven experience in business development and key account management.
• Established network in the German polymers market highly valued.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with international teams.
• Technical background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Polymer Science is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities while building long-term relationships with customers.
• Manage and expand an existing customer portfolio and prospect for new clients.
• Promote and sell our polymer portfolio, focusing on polyolefins.
• Strengthen market position by spotting opportunities and trends.
• Achieve sales targets in turnover, profitability and customer acquisition.
• Negotiate and close sales, aligned with pricing and policies.
• Conduct customer visits and plan actions to meet objectives.
• Gather market intelligence on customers, competitors and developments.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Supply Chain and Customer Service teams, with support from German-speaking CS team in Spain.
