Job summary

Welocalize, Inc. is seeking Data Labeling Analysts for Project Perseus: Speech & Voice AI Analyst - German. This is a 100% onsite role across NYC, Seattle, Bay Area, or client sites, with full-time, 40 hours per week, and W2 employment.

You will evaluate AI outputs, provide structured feedback, and ensure language data quality. Requirements include native German, strong writing, and 1 year in labeling or a related degree.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in German.
• Strong written communication skills and language fundamentals.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work; or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification in a related field.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments.
• Ability to manage time effectively and maintain steady output.
• Willingness to ask questions and escalation when needed.
• Basic familiarity with AI, speech technology, or language data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior — identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully — and flag when they don't reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
