Welo Data is seeking detail-oriented Data Labeling Analysts to support speech and voice AI systems. This 100% onsite role requires native German fluency and a focus on producing high-quality, structured feedback from audio data.

Typical duties include evaluating model outputs, auditing data, and contributing to evaluation frameworks. Candidates should have 1 year of related experience or a relevant degree, and be willing to work in US cities listed in the posting.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in German.
• Strong written communication and language fundamentals.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work; or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior; identify patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully — and flag when they don’t reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
