Job summary

AltaMed Health Services is seeking a Staff Physician, Geriatrics, Float to provide comprehensive primary care for older adults enrolled in the PACE program in the Los Angeles area. The physician will work across settings including the PACE center, patients' homes, and SNFs, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.

The role requires CA licensure, board eligibility, DEA license, and current BLS certification, with EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified and eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Active unrestricted CA license to practice medicine.
• Current DEA license.
• Minimum BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross.
• Experience with computer-based systems; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care to participants in AltaMed's PACE program across multiple settings (center, home visits, virtual care, SNFs).
• Manage a defined panel, promote wellness, prevent illness, and coordinate with specialists and IDT members.
• Collaborate with IDT to ensure high-quality, patient-centered, regulatory-compliant care.
