Job summary

AltaMed invites applications for the Regional Medical Director for PACE to lead clinical governance across our PACE delivery sites. You will oversee utilization, case management, and chronic disease programs, ensuring high-quality outcomes for senior participants while guiding policy and operations.

The role requires a physician with leadership experience in managed care,熟 with Medi-Cal/Medicare and BLS, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams in a complex care environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician with a minimum of 4 years of clinical experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience, preferably within medical management working in a managed care environment.
• Experience in working with Medi-Cal, Medicare, and frail elderly or senior populations, and knowledge of appropriate diagnostic reporting and HCC coding.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate, integrate, and coordinate AltaMed PACE healthcare delivery systems to maximize benefits for eligible participants.
• Oversee clinical utilization management, case management, and chronic disease management.
• Provide guidance to ensure high-quality, compliant clinical outcomes and communicate strategic directions to teams.
