Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Geriatrics RN to join our Magnet-designated team at Stone Bridge. The role emphasizes collaborative nursing care, thorough assessment, and meticulous documentation in a geriatric patient population.

The ideal candidate will hold NJ RN licensure, with BSN preferred or to be earned within three years. Geriatrics, critical care, or ED experience is preferred, and BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed as Registered Nurse in New Jersey (NJ).
• BLS certification is required.
• Geriatrics, CCU or ED experience preferred.
• BSN preferred or obtained within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine patient health status as per Nursing Standards.
• Ensure procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies per policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.

The Geriatrics RN will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date
• Critical Care, Emergency Department Geriatric experience preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association

Salary Range:38.00 - 51.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
