Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System in New Jersey seeks a Geriatrics RN to join a Magnet-designated team of highly skilled nurses. You will contribute to a collaborative nursing environment, assess patients according to Nursing Standards, and follow Standards of Care.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as Registered Nurse in New Jersey.
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three years of hire date.
• Critical Care or Emergency Department geriatric experience preferred.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.

The Geriatrics RN will:

• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards

• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date
• Critical Care, Emergency Department Geriatric experience preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
