Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Geriatrics Registered Nurse to join the Stone Bridge team in New Jersey. This Magnet-recognized hospital emphasizes exceptional patient outcomes and collaborative care.

The Geriatrics RN will assess, monitor, and care for geriatric patients with a focus on standards of care and safe medication administration. Qualifications include NJ RN licensure, BSN preferred or to be obtained within three years, and BLS certification; CCU/ED geriatric experience

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in New Jersey.
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date.
• BLS certification required.
• Critical Care, Emergency Department Geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.

Requirements

• Licensed as Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date
• Critical Care, Emergency Department Geriatric experience preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association

Salary Range: 38.00 - 51.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
