Job summary

Top Echelon LLC has a contract phlebotomist position in Draper, UT, working 7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri. The assignment is projected for 3 months with potential for permanent hire. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and maintaining accurate patient data. Geriatric experience is required.

Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience and a phlebotomy certification are requested; a HS diploma or GED is required. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required in some states
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital
• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens
• Label, centrifuge, and prepare specimens per procedures
• Record maintenance data and ensure proper specimen handling
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and document accordingly
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings
