Qualifikationen

• Master's degree MSN from the practicing State Board of Nursing Approved Master's Program.
• National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners through an accredited association.
• Practicing-state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.

Aufgaben

• Provides appropriate patient care including recording medical history and physical assessment; develops therapeutic care plans; orders and interprets diagnostic tests; documents medical records.
• Coordinates patient care with patient, family, community health services and interdisciplinary team; involves supervising physician as needed.
• Monitors continuity of care and coordinates periodic evaluation by physicians as defined in the CRNP agreement.
• Prepares prescription orders for drugs and controlled substances; administers medications and injections; provides wound care.
• Educates patients and families on health, medications, treatment instructions, and community resources as appropriate.
• Triages patient telephone calls and maintains continuity of care.
• Participates in performance quality initiatives and ensures regulatory compliance.
• May manage outpatient concerns and other duties as assigned.
