Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a physician for the Division of Support Care and Geriatrics. Board certified or eligible in geriatrics, you will participate in education and training of students, residents and fellows, and consult with the geriatric trauma service at Forbes Regional Hospital.

The role primarily serves skilled nursing facility patients, participates in the Hospitals Elder Life Program, and drives other general initiatives with mid-level support.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy.
• Licensed in Pennsylvania prior to employment.
• Board certified/Board Eligible in Geriatrics.
• New graduates with outstanding backgrounds will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide geriatric care in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Serve as a consultative physician with the geriatric trauma service at Forbes Regional Hospital.
• Participate in the Hospitals Elder Life Program and other initiatives.
• Collaborate with mid-level staff in daily operations.
