Job summary

CareConnectMD, Inc. is seeking a full-time physician for Corona, CA. The role offers a competitive salary with a sign-on bonus and a flexible schedule designed to promote work-life balance for experienced clinicians.

You will provide physician coverage across a dynamic service area, perform timely patient visits, document thoroughly in SOAP format, and participate in a supportive team environment with after-hours call coverage and QA initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board-certified specialty.
• Current State of California medical license is required.
• Credentialing/Managed care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician coverage for 8–20 facilities as needed.
• Determine and implement a rounding schedule to meet patient needs.
• Document visits timely using SOAP in EMR.
• Manage custodial/long-term care patients per contract and regulatory standards.
• Conduct monthly visits to custodial residents per California Title 22.
• Respond to calls from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Mon–Fri.
• Participate in QI, peer review, and medical staff meetings.
• Handle coding and daily submission of billing forms.
