Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board-certified or eligible specialty
• Current California medical license & DEA
• Experience in geriatrics or palliative care preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide physician coverage for a dynamic service area (8–20 facilities) based on contract needs
• Determine and conduct an appropriate rounding schedule to meet patient visit requirements
• Document patient visits using SOAP format in group EMR
• Manage custodial/long-term care patients and ACO REACH patients
• Respond to direct calls and pages within CCMD policy
• Attend medical staff meetings and participate in QI programs
