Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board-certified specialty.
• Current CA medical license and DEA registration.
• Experience in geriatrics or palliative care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician coverage for a dynamic service area with multiple facilities.
• Determine rounding schedules to meet patient visit requirements.
• Document visits timely using SOAP in EMR and ensure medical necessity.
• Manage custodial and skilled patient care and appropriate discharges.
• Participate in QI programs, peer review, and medical staff meetings.
