Job summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs' Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System seeks a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with geriatric training to join our multidisciplinary VA geriatrics program and support UCLA faculty appointment.

You will provide comprehensive care for older Veterans in a nursing home/CLC setting, supervise trainees, and collaborate with the Medical Director on QA and administrative tasks; a UCLA faculty appointment is possible.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with geriatric training or significant long-term care experience.
• U.S. citizen with licensed, unrestricted medical license.
• Fellowship in geriatrics preferred; UCLA faculty appointment possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for older adults in long-term care settings.
• Supervise and teach geriatrics fellows, residents, and trainees.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and the Medical Director for QA and admin tasks.
