Job summary
Spectrum Retirement Communities in Ohio seeks a Wellness Nurse to support residents with ongoing clinical monitoring, collaborate with community nurses and caregivers, and help ensure regulatory compliance and clinical excellence.
You will screen and assess residents, administer medications per physicians' orders, coordinate with outside providers, document changes, and stay up to date with state regulations while delivering compassionate, team-oriented care.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Graduate from accredited school of practical nursing.
- Current LPN/RN license and registration.
- Minimum 3 years in geriatric assessment.
- Compassion and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist with admission coordination including screening and assessment.
- Ensure care per resident care plans.
- Administer medications per physicians' orders.
- Coordinate care with outside providers including resident physicians.
- Document care and changes observed in residents.
- Maintain knowledge of state regulations and procedures.
