Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Wellness Nurse to support residents' health through clinical monitoring and collaboration with nurses, caregivers, and medication personnel. This full-time role requires teamwork, flexibility, and a warm, encouraging bedside manner.

Responsibilities include coordinating admissions, ensuring care aligns with plans, administering medications, coordinating with physicians, documenting care, and staying current with state regulations in Ohio.

Qualifications

Knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures
Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN)
Three (3) years'experience in assessment and geriatric nursing
Compassion, eagerness to learn, and warmth with residents

Responsibilities

Coordinate resident admission process including screening, assessment, and care needs
Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans
Administer medications and ensure orders are followed
Coordinate care with outside providers including resident physicians
Document and report care provided and resident observations
Maintain knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures
