Job summary

Flagship Therapy in Sarasota, FL is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join an expanding in-house rehab program. The role focuses on assessing and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders, supporting geriatric care within our in-house facilities.

The successful candidate will hold a valid SLP license, be open to all experience levels including new grads, and participate in a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license is required.
• Open to all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments per regulatory and clinical standards.
• Regular standing and walking; lifting, transferring, repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures incl. manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, devices, wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, caregivers and other providers.
• Generate discharge summaries meeting regulatory and clinical requirements.
