Job summary

Ridge Valley Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current North Carolina SLP license or eligibility.
CCC-SLP preferred; CFY encouraged if applicable.
Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans and provide individual and group therapy.
Evaluate and treat dysphagia using evidence-based techniques.
Monitor progress and adjust plans to maximize functional outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and care teams for comprehensive care.
Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing safety.
