Job summary

TransPerfect Health seeks a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in Rutherfordton, NC to provide patient-centered care in senior living and skilled nursing settings.

You will conduct screenings and therapies, document outcomes, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support aging residents. Requires a current state license; ASHA credential preferred. Competitive pay and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Speech Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program.
• ASHA accreditation or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts and plan of care.
• Help optimize functional independence and quality of life for aging residents.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Develop robust therapy programs in collaboration with Rehabilitation leadership.
• Follow infection control procedures and Resident Rights guidelines.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and prioritize patient care.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties with moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
