Job summary

Majestic Care Bedford is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care for residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. The role focuses on individualized treatment plans to improve communication and safe swallowing, in collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Indiana.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CF candidates may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and goals.
• Provide therapies targeting speech, language, voice, fluency, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication and safe swallowing strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to optimize outcomes.
• Document evaluations and sessions; maintain compliance with HIPAA and SNF standards.
• Collaborate with nursing, dietary, OT/PT and participate in care planning meetings.
