Job summary

Elderwood at Lancaster in New York is seeking a licensed RN to join our local nursing team. You will direct and monitor personal and nursing care, supervise Nursing Assistants, and ensure adherence to each resident's Plan of Care to support quality, safety, and comfort.

The role offers multiple shifts (days/evenings/overnights), competitive pay with $5 evening shift differentials, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with match, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and a collaborative, respectful work

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with current state license.
• Experience in geriatric settings preferred.
• Ability to supervise and work with others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mature, respectful attitude toward residents.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor personal and nursing care by Nursing Assistants.
• Assist Nursing Assistants with direct resident care as needed.
• Report changes of condition to unit management.
• Follow Plan of Care and monitor care plan implementation.
• Manage storage and distribution of medications per policy.
• Document in care plans, Nursing Notes, and MARs.
• Ensure residents' rights and preferences are respected.
